This paper presents an introduction of a research on the mechanism of image deformation of photo-mechanical scanning and an analysis of its influence factors,thereafter a comprehensive elucidation of the method model and detailed operation program of its geometrical adjustment by using the functions of remote sensing image processing software ERDAS.
