Based on the field survey data obtained from May 1996 to June 2003,the resources of waterfowl in Hubei province of Central China,including species diversity,distribution and population number were studied with systematic sampling such as direct count,quadrat and special survey methods.

Trapping mothes using blacklight trap in tobacco field at Fuquan county, the results show that the (seasonal) (dynamics) of the population number of Prodenia litura (Fabricius) and Heliothis armigera (Hubner) changes by a wide margin (among) different years.

The population numbers, densities, structure and reasons of negative increasing of Moschus chrysogaster in Xinglong Mountain were studied in the paper.
