Using the model of determining the relative contributions from different nucleosynthesis processes to the abundances of the heavy elements in metal poor stars,we calculate the component coefficients of 30 sample stars.

Based on our model to compute the heavy element abundances in metal poor stars, the authors study the heavy element abundance distributions in 21 metal poor stars published in 1999.

Based on the model of computing the abundances of the heavy elements in metal poor stars,we study the influence of the errors due to the typical heavy element abundance on the three component coefficients in 18 metal poor stars,the upper and lower limits of the component coefficients are calculated.

Based on the observed abundances of several typical elements and the conclusions of the heavy elemental nucleosynthesis theory and the galactic chemical evolution theory, the authors suggest a method to determine the relative contributions from the individual neutron capture processes to the abundances of heavy elements in metal poor stars.
