The composition and characteristics of the hot rolling sludge in a steel plant as well as the design,equipment selection and debugging of the hot rolling sludge treatment system were introduced.

Adsorption of phenol in water by dried activated sludge and pyrolysis dried activated sludge, which made from the material of discarded activated sludge of municipal wastewater treatment plant, were studied.

Compared with the conventional digestion process, the thermophilic sludge digestion can inactivate pathogens effectively and degrade the organic materials which cannot be hydrolyzed in the conventional digestion process.
