PurposeIris pigment epithelium cells have the same embryonic origin and similar cell morphology as RPE cells, and easy to harvest, so it is expectable to substitute RPE cells for autologous transplantation to treat age-related macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, and macular dystrophy etc.
前言 虹膜色素上皮(IPE)细胞与视网膜色素上皮(RPE)细胞具有相同的胚胎发育来源，基本具备RPE细胞的生理功能，且取材方便，可望代替RPE细胞实现自体移植，治疗老年性黄斑变性(ARMD)等疾病。

| 虹膜睫状体炎 iridocyclitis 葡萄膜前部组织（虹膜和睫状体）的炎症。又称前葡萄膜炎。分急性和慢性。急性者主诉眼痛、羞明、视力减退，见睫状体充血，瞳孔小，房水混浊，角膜后有沉着物，重时可见前房积脓，还可见虹膜后粘连，甚至瞳孔闭锁或瞳孔膜闭，眼压升高时可见虹膜膨隆。慢性者多为肉芽肿性，起病慢，角膜后沉着物多呈羊脂状，病和迁延。本病的治疗应寻找病因，去除病灶，为防止发生虹膜后粘连，应立立即散瞳，激素应以局部应用为主。 |
