针织物的一种花色组织，特点是把纤维或纱线直接编织在针织物的地组织中，使织物表面形成较长的绒毛。有纬编和经编两种。在编织过程中毛纱或散纤维与地纱一起成圈，经整理工序使毛纱或散纤维的头端突出于针织物表面形成绒毛状。利用长短与粗细不一的纤维可织制出外观接近于天然毛皮的长毛绒织物，因此又有"人造毛皮"之称。长毛绒组织织物厚实、柔软、保暖性好，适用于制做冬季御寒服装。
