一种亚氯酸盐，化学式NaClO2。白色粉末；易溶于水；无水盐加热到180～200°C时分解，受到撞击会发生爆炸。亚氯酸钠是强氧化剂。在碱性介质中，用过氧化氢还原二氧化氯可生成亚氯酸钠：
2ClO2+H2O2+2NaOH─→2NaClO2+2H2O+O2蒸浓溶液后，冷却至室温可析出三水合亚氯酸钠，再放在干燥器中干燥脱水，即得亚氯酸钠。亚氯酸钠可做高效漂白剂，用于纸浆和纤维的漂白；也可作氧化剂，用于饮水净化和污水处理。
