熔接法和焊接法因其生产工艺复杂,已很少采用,现在主要是用粘接法生产中空玻璃。最广泛应用的粘接剂是聚硫橡胶类胶粘剂。此外，还发展了用特制的铝窗框、弹性密封胶圈、干燥剂和粘接剂制作装配式中空玻璃窗的新工艺。
