| 开明绅士 中国抗日战争和第三次国内革命战争（见解放战争）时期，地主和富农阶级中带有资本主义和民主色彩的个别人士。又称开明士绅。他们同帝国主义、官僚资本主义有矛盾，具有爱国思想，政治上比较开明，要求民主和进步。在革命形势推动和中国共产党的团结教育下，他们参加反对帝国主义侵略和反对国民党统治的斗争，支持人民革命。抗日战争时期，陕甘宁边区的李鼎铭和晋绥边区的刘少白是当时开明绅士的代表。中国共产党对开明绅士采取团结的政策，将其作为统一战线的成员，除在土地改革中依照政策法令处理其土地和财产外，在政治上、工作上和生活上都给予特别照顾，吸收他们参加人民政权、人民政协、社会团体的工作，充分发挥他们的专长和作用。 |
