本文通过对安徽北部两个奥陶系剖面豹皮灰岩(俗称豹斑)的宏观、微观及地球化学特征研究,认为豹皮灰岩的形成与奥陶纪灰岩沉积过程中的古岩溶作用及其后生改造密切相关。

| 雪豹 Uncia uncia；snow leopard 食肉目猫科雪豹属唯一种。又称艾叶豹。体长1.3 米，重约40千克；体形似豹，比豹略矮小，但体毛长而密，呈灰白色，遍体布满黑色斑点和黑环；尾长近1米，尾毛蓬松。分布于亚洲中部的高原地带、喜马拉雅山以北、昆仑山、天山、阿尔泰山、帕米尔和阴山，此外，印度、巴基斯坦、阿富汗、不丹和尼泊尔等均有分布。栖息于海拔较高、寒冷的裸岩山地，除配偶或哺乳时，平常独居。性凶猛而机警，嗅、听觉敏锐，动作灵活，善跳跃。白天隐匿在巢穴中，黄昏和夜晚出来捕食高山上的各种野羊，也猎取兔、旱獭、鼠类和高山鸟类。食物缺少时，可盗食家畜。发情期在1～3月，妊娠期约100天，4～6月产仔，每胎2～5只。幼仔3个月后即随母兽练习捕猎，约1年后独立生活。寿命约10年。雪豹活动在人烟稀少、地形复杂的高原地带，极难捕获。
