性质:又称球磨机。磨碎或研磨的一种常用设备。利用下落的研磨体(如钢球、鹅卵石等)的冲击作用以及研磨体与球磨内壁的研磨作用而将物料粉碎并混合。当球磨转动时,由于研磨体与球磨内壁之间的摩擦作用。将研磨体依旋转的方向带上后再落下。这样物料就连续不断地被粉碎。按照机体的形状可分圆筒球磨(见图)、锥形球磨和管磨(又称管磨机)三种。优点是:(1)可用于干磨或湿磨;(2)操作条件好,粉碎在密闭机内进行,没有尘灰飞扬;(3)运转可靠,研磨体便宜,且便于更换;(4)可间歇操作,也可连续操作;(5)粉碎易爆物料时,磨中可充入惰性气体以代替空气。缺点是:(1)体积庞大笨重;(2)运转时有强烈的振动和噪声,须有牢固的基础;(3)工作效率低,消耗能量较大;(4)研磨体与机体的摩擦损耗很大,并会沾污产品。广泛应用于坚硬物质料粉碎。
