| 雪峰山 位于中国湖南省西部沅江与资水间。南起湖南省与广西壮族自治区边境，与八十里大南山相接。北止洞庭湖滨。西侧是湘西丘陵。东侧为湘中丘陵。东北-西南走向。褶皱断块山。南段山势陡峻，北段被资水穿切后，渐降为丘陵。长350千米。主峰苏宝顶，海拔1934米，位于默阳与涧口之间。次高峰白马山，海拔1781米。植被为亚热带常绿阔叶林及各种杉木为主，垂直分异明显。有锡等矿产资源。水资源丰富。山区筑有柘溪、黄材、水府庙等水库。 |
