影像学术语。数字成像方式中图像改良方式之一。通常情况下，人的视觉只能分辨出几十级灰度，但是却能分辨出几百种颜色的色彩和强度。把图像中的各像素点的灰度变换为不同色彩的过程称为色彩编码，从而把原始的灰阶影像转换成(伪)彩色影像。经过伪彩色处理后的图像能够表现出更多的图像细节，使图像更加鲜明，对比更加强烈。伪彩色处理是核医学显(成)像检查及其他数字成像检查中常用的图像改良技术，其效果较灰度直方图变换更佳。
