结构式 CH3CH2CH2COOC2H5
    又名酪酸乙酯。无色液体。分子量116.16。沸点12l℃。闪点26℃。在水中溶解度为0.5%。不溶于甘油。溶于丙二醇。以1:3溶于60%乙醇;以l:(1-1.5)溶于70%乙醇。具有强烈的类似香蕉、菠萝的水果香气,味甜。
    生产方法:主要采用酯化法。以丁酸和乙醇为原料,在硫酸催化剂存在下进行酸化反应,然后经中和、洗涤、干燥、蒸馏而得。
    用途:酯类合成香料。主要用作风梨、玫瑰等香精调合香料及掩蔽剂。
