肱动脉的分支，为前臂的一条脉干，它先在肱桡肌与旋前圆肌之间，沿前臂桡侧下行，然后行于肱桡肌与桡侧腕屈肌(腱）之间，在腕的上方其位置表浅，能触及肌搏，是临床切脉的部位。桡动脉的分支营养前臂及手桡侧半结构。
