| 峡湾 fjord 海侵后被淹没的冰川谷。冰川谷的一种特殊类型。在高纬度地区，大陆冰川和岛状冰盖能伸入海洋，冰川谷进入海面以下，继续深掘，拓宽冰床，冰期后海面上升，下端被海水入侵淹没，受海水影响，形成两侧岸壁平直、陡峭、谷底宽、深度大的海湾，即峡湾。海面上升淹没前的槽谷地形，可以曾是沿构造破碎或岩性软弱地带发育的河谷。世界上最深的峡湾在南美巴塔哥尼亚海湾，深达1288米。 |
