亦称乙酸铅,俗称铅糖。无色晶体或白色粉末,化学式(CH3COO)2Pb·3H2O,分子量379.33,密度2.55g/cm3。75℃失去结晶水,无水物是白色粉末,密度3.25g/cm3,熔点280℃。味甜,有毒!易溶于水和甘油,微溶于乙醇。具有醋酸气味。在空气中吸收二氧化碳后变为不溶性的碱式碳酸盐。在100℃时分解出乙酸,在200℃时完全分解。用作分析试剂、媒染剂、染发剂、医药、生物染色、有机合成,还用于制铬酸铅颜料等。由铅粒跟醋酸反应制得。
