| 萎缩 atrophy 发育正常的器官、组织或细胞体积缩小的现象。首先是细胞体积缩小，从而由萎缩细胞构成的组织或器官的体积也缩小，常往往伴有细胞数目的减少、代谢率降低及功能减弱。萎缩可以是生理性的，生理性萎缩与年龄有关，如青春期后胸腺萎缩，妇女绝经后卵巢、子宫及乳腺萎缩。老年人的大部分器官重量常均减轻。但老年人有些器官的萎缩，如脑萎缩，可能与脑动脉粥样硬化血管管腔狭窄，血流供应减少有关。病理性萎缩有：①失用性萎缩。②神经性萎缩。③压迫性萎缩。④营养不良性萎缩。⑤内分泌性萎缩。萎缩若发生的时间较短或程度较轻时，在原因消除后，萎缩的细胞可以恢复原状。高度萎缩的细胞逐渐发生变性、坏死、消失，最后由纤维或脂肪组织所取代。 |
