The Predictions in Ungauged Basins(PUB) become the theme of a new International Hydrological Decade initiated by the International Association of Hydrological Sciences from July 2003; of which the key research points are given briefly hereinafter.

| 国际水文计划 International Association of Hydrological Sciences 长期的国际水文合作。1975年开始执行。中国是成员国。国际水文计划的目的是组织成员国执行一系列计划项目，其中有水文循环研究，人类活动对水文循环的影响，水资源的合理估算和有效利用等；组织出版刊物、情报交流、学术会议和地区合作等以促进国际水文合作；水文科学的教育和培训。这项计划的领导机构是政府间理事会，由联合国教科文组织理事国组成 。每2年举行一次会议 ，休会期间由国际水文计划秘书处行使职能。成员国在其国内设立国际水文计划国家委员会，其任务是制订参加国际水文计划的本国计划 ，并促其实施。 |
