（术语）开者，明明打开方便之方便，会者，真实和会其方便，即方便真实之法，例如于法华经方便品断定三乘教为方便之说，为开。于经文名之曰开方便门。又三乘教于一乘上，始有分别者，说一乘之外无三乘，三乘即一乘，为会。于经文名之曰示真实相。因而所谓开显亦同。是乃法华经一部之主意也。四教仪曰：“开前顿渐，会入非顿非渐，故言开权显实。”(参见：开显)
