| 带电粒子的回旋运动 charged particle，cyclotron motion of 在均匀恒定磁场中，带电粒子沿着以磁力线为轴的螺旋线运动。 在均匀恒定磁场B中，以速度υ运动、电量为q的带电粒子受到的洛伦兹力F＝qυ×B。F的方向垂直于 B和υ构成的平面。 因F与υ垂直，故洛伦兹力对带电粒子不作功，不改变其速率和动能，只改变其运动方向。把υ分解为平行和垂直磁场B的分量υ‖和υ┻。因F无平行B的分量，故υ‖的大小方向都保持不变；又因F既垂直于B又垂直于υ┻，故υ┻的大小保持不变，υ┻的方向在垂直于B的平面内不断改变。结果，带电粒子将以υ┻在垂直于B的平面内作圆周运动；同时，圆中心又以υ‖沿B方向作匀速直线运动，形成以磁力线为轴的螺旋线轨迹。 如果观察者跟随带电粒子沿磁力线以υ‖运动 ，他看到的只是粒子的圆运动，即围绕磁力线的回旋运动，这个圆的半径称为回旋半径或拉莫尔半径，回旋运动的角速度称为回旋频率或拉莫尔频率。 速度相同的异号电荷将沿反向回旋。由于离子的质量远大于电子质量，离子的回旋半径远大于电子的回旋半径，而离子的回旋频率远小于电子的回旋频率。 |
