中国清代藏书理论专论。 曹溶著 。曹溶 (1613～1685),字洁躬,又字秋岳,号倦圃。明崇祯十年(1637)进士，官至御史。后仕于清。著有《静惕堂集》等。《流通古书约》是该文集中的一篇专论。作者指出历代藏书家重收藏轻流通的危害，认为中国古籍散佚的重要原因是藏书家将其藏书视为私有珍宝，百般爱惜，不愿公诸于世，致使许多有价值的图书成为孤本，一遇天灾人祸，往往不能保全。作者建议藏书家互相传抄所缺图书，或将所藏珍本刻版刊行，他认为，这样做具有"珍藏不出门"、"有功于古人"、使自己的藏书日益丰富、"各地皆可行"等优点。曹溶所谓的"流通"，是指藏书家之间的互借传钞或刻印交换,其目的是为了保存古籍,仍严守着"好书不出户"的古训，与现代图书馆的"文献流通"的概念仍有区别。
