      又称类卤素。指某些原子团,它们在游离状态下与卤素(见卤族元素)单质性质上相似,它们的阴离子也与卤离子相似,例如氰(CN)2、硫氰(SCN)2、硒氰(SeCN)2、氧氰(OCN)2、叠氮二硫化碳(SCSN3)2。叠氮离子N婣和碲代氰酸根离子TeCN -与卤离子相似,但没有与卤素单质相应的母体,称为假卤离子。
  
  假卤素与卤素的相似性表现在:①游离状态时都有挥发性;②与金属化合生成盐,其银、铅、亚汞盐的溶解度很小;③与氢形成氢酸,除氢氰酸以外,都是强酸;④能形成卤素互化物和假卤互化物,如CN·SCN;⑤可形成多卤化物(如KI3)和多假卤化物[如Cs(SeCN)3];⑥可形成配位化合物,如K2[HgI4]和K2[Hg(SCN)4];⑦同碱和水发生相似的反应:
  Cl2+2OH-─→Cl-+ClO-+H2O
  (CN)2+2OH-─→CN-+CNO-+H2O⑧卤离子和假卤离子都有还原性:
   4H++2Cl-+MnO2─→Mn2++Cl2+2H2O
  4H++2SCN-+MnO2─→Mn2++(SCN)2+2H2O⑨都用化学氧化法和电化学氧化法制取。
