In the standard Morse code,the proportion for the codegap,character-gap and word-gap is 1∶3∶5,however,the proportion of the Morse handcraft code is around and random,which may decrease the precision of auto-coding.
标准莫尔斯码中,码间隔、字间隔、词间隔三种信号时间长度的比为1∶3∶5,而手工拍发的莫尔斯码各信号间的比例随机性较强,自动译码准确度不高。

美国科学家,电报发明人。1791年4月27日生于美国马萨诸塞州，1872年4月2日卒于纽约市。1810年毕业于耶鲁大学。早期曾从事印刷和绘画。1837年在美国电学家J.亨利等帮助下，经过反复试验研制出最早的电磁式电报机。1838年在A.L.范尔的启示下创造了点划组合的莫尔斯电码，使电报机进入了实用阶段。后在美国国会的资助下，莫尔斯用了约两年时间建成从华盛顿到巴尔的摩全程64公里的电报线路,1844年5月24日开始通报，揭开了人类通信史新的一页。
