补充资料：长藤结瓜式灌溉系统
在输水、配水渠系上连接有水库、池塘等调蓄水量设施的灌溉系统。系统中的渠道象瓜藤，水库、池塘象藤上的瓜，故称长藤结瓜式灌溉系统（见图）。中国南方丘陵山区建有许多这种形式的灌溉系统。它与单纯的引水灌溉系统相比，优点是：可以把非灌溉季节的河水和灌水低峰期多余的渠水，以及沿渠的坡面径流等，引入水库、池塘存蓄起来，供灌水高峰期使用，弥补引入水量的不足，从而提高河水坡水的利用率，并可较充分地利用渠道的引水能力，达到扩大灌溉面积和提高抗旱能力的目的。缺点是：修建这种灌溉系统的蓄水设施，常占用一些土地，耗费一定的建设和管理养护费用，蓄起来的水也会有一部分蒸发渗漏损失。
