      滹沱河中下游水利工程之一,因大坝位于河北省平山县黄壁庄村而得名。主要控制岗黄之间干流和支流冶河洪水,同时发展灌溉、发电,解决城市用水。始建于1958年,1965年续建。黄壁庄水库地处太行山东翼,平山、灵寿、获鹿县境内,水库建在滹沱河出山口处,控制流域面积2.34万平方公里,占全流域面积的95%。与上游岗南水库(见岗南水库)均为年调节水库。工程主坝高32.5米,长1840余米,顶宽7.5米,副坝长6900米,最大坝高19.2米。总库容12亿立方米。与岗南水库联合运用,可将上游千年一遇洪峰流量由2.74万立方米/秒削减为1.92万立方米/秒,水库下游有石津、灵正等灌渠,可灌农田近20万公顷。电站装机容量1.6万千瓦,年发电量4200余万度。
