高温单孢菌属 细胞壁化学组份Ⅲ型，即以内消旋二氨基庚二酸为唯一特征性组份，无特征性糖。代表种为弯曲高温单孢菌，为嗜热菌，最适生长温度约50℃。
糖单孢菌属 形态上如高温单孢菌，但细胞壁化学组份Ⅳ型，即以内消旋二氨基庚二酸以及阿拉伯糖和半乳糖为特征性组分。代表种为绿色糖单孢菌。
