巴基斯坦电影制片人、导演、演员。他从20年代末就投身于电影业。1935年因在历史影片《旃陀罗·笈多》中饰演古代政治家阇那伽而成名。此后他参与了几十部影片的拍摄,并于1939年自己创办了电影制片厂。从1940年至1947年，他拍了不少影片。1947年以后纳齐尔作为制片人及导演，他为巴基斯坦电影业的发展作出了重要贡献。由他担任制片人兼导演的旁遮普语影片《婚礼》(1949)是巴基斯坦独立后第一部成功的影片。
