随人员、马匹、武器、车辆携行的和由师、团仓库及专业分队运行的物资储备。是战术储备的一部分。通常包括弹药、给养、油料、药材及其他物资。规定移动储备的目的，是使部队能够随时投入战斗，并能维持一定时间内的战斗需要。移动储备在平时按统一标准配齐，战斗中随耗随补，经常保持数量足，质量好。移动储备的数量，称为携运行量，一般是由军队最高领导机关确定。规定随人员、马匹、武器、车辆等携行的物资数量为携行量；规定由师、团仓库及专业分队运行的物资数量为运行量。携运行量，根据国家的生产能力、武器装备的性能、一般战斗需要和部队携运行能力等因素确定。许多国家的军队都有移动储备，但携行与运行的具体数量不同。中华人民共和国成立后，中国人民解放军对全军的弹药、给养、药材、维修零部件等物资的携运行量，逐步作了统一的规定。
