理气

运用调理气机的药物治疗气滞证和气逆证的治法。气的概念有不同的内涵，这里所说的气主要是指脏腑的功能，如肝气的疏泄作用，肺气的肃降作用，胃气的和降作用等。脏腑受到情志、饮食、痰湿、瘀血以及寒热等邪气的影响，就会发生气的运行失常，脏腑功能失调，而导致种种病变。理气法具有调理气机，恢复脏腑正常功能的作用。气的运行失常所致的病证常见的有气滞证和气逆证。气滞证常见胸胁胀满，胁肋疼痛，妇女月经不调,痛经，疝气腹痛，或脘腹胀满疼痛,呕恶食少，腹鸣腹痛等症，气逆证常见咳喘，恶心呕吐，嗳气，呃逆等。气滞宜疏，气逆宜降，故理气又分为行气和降气。
使用理气法应注意探求气滞证或气逆证的病因，审因论治，以治其本。
