| 大神农架 位于中国湖北省西部，大巴山的主峰，山脉大致沿东西方向延伸，湖北省境内长江、汉水的分水岭。附近不少山峰海拔超过2500米，山体硕大，有华中屋脊之称。主峰神农顶海拔3105.4米，号称华中第一峰。这里湿度大，宜于多种林木生长。1700米以下为亚热带常绿阔叶、落叶阔叶混交林，以青栲、铁橡树、枹树、栓皮栎等为主；1700～2000米之间以华山松、油松、锐齿栎为主；2000米以上气候冷湿，出现以巴山冷杉为主的暗针叶林带。山地森林覆盖率达70％，有珙香果树、楠木、麦吊杉、黄杉等珍贵树种。 |
