YI飞芥Un英寸(inch)英国法定度量衡制和美国习用度量衡制的长度单位，符号为in，等于1136州(码)。源自古英文~或卿he，这两词都来自拉丁单位盎西亚(uncia)，它是拉丁尺(衅)的1112。uncia也是另一个英制单位—盎司—的来源。14世纪初爱德华二世在位时，把英寸定义为‘，3个干而圆的大麦粒头尾相接的长度”。后来，英寸也曾被定义为12粒鉴粟子并排的长度。从1959年起，法定lin为2.54cm，由此lm二39.370 lin。(施昌彦)
