性质:系生物催化剂之一,产品呈米色粉末状。来源于面包酵母菌(baker′s yeast)、大肠杆菌或嗜热脂肪芽孢杆菌(Bacillus stearother-mophilus Donk),经抽提,纯化后,再经制备型高压液相色谱仪(HPLC)分离,冻干,即成精晶。酶活单位定义:在pH值7.2、25℃、1min内能从无机焦磷酸释放出1μmol的无机磷酸的酶量为一个活力单位。如果是耐热菌生产的酶,则选择pH值9.0、50℃条件即可。它所催化的反应为:无机焦磷酸(PPi)二分子的无机磷酸(2Pi)如在肝脏细胞中尿素循环所产生的无机磷酸几乎全部是焦磷酸酶水解无机焦磷酸的结果,并使反应继续向产生尿素的方向移动。
