| 港元 香港地区的货币单位。1元等于100分。纸币面额有10、50、100、500、1000元等，另有5、10、20、50分及1、2、5元铸币。港元诞生于1866年6月，当时市面流通的有1元、半元等铸造银元。1872年香港政府为防止银元外流，授权汇丰银行印发纸币，代替银元在市面上流通。 香港发行的港元，大致分为两类：一是由汇丰银行和渣打银行发行的纸币，二是由港英当局发行的纸、硬币。港元的汇率大致随着香港内外经济金融形势的变化而变化。1935年港元固定汇率为1港元兑换1先令3便士。1967年11月22日1港元宣布升值10％，1港元兑换1先令4便士半。1972年6月23日英镑实行浮动汇率，港英政府仍表示港元钉住英镑。1972年7月6日，由于英镑浮动的压力，港元改与美元挂钩，1974年11月26日，港元实行浮动汇率。1983年10月17日港元现钞市场以7.8港元兑1美元为固定兑换率，港元从此与美元相联系。 |
