诱导轮是个从动轮，用来诱导和支撑履带，并与履带调整器一起调整履带的松紧程度。它由轮毂、轮盘、滚珠轴承、轮轴盖、固定螺帽、双排滚珠轴承、支撑杯和回绕挡油盖等组成。托带轮主要用来托着上支履带，没有这种托带轮，履带就会发生撞击。托带轮轴的一端，牢固地固定在车体上。由于托带轮直径比负重轮小，其轴承的转速却高得多，然而它只支撑上支履带，即履带重量的1/3，以减少履带的振荡。
