1956年Fairbank首先描述。系一种不对称的软骨增生，局限于一个肢体的一侧。多见于2～14岁的男性。好发于跗骨、股骨远端和胫骨近端，出现疼痛、膝内翻或膝外翻、踝外翻或马蹄足，以及关节活动受限。X线摄片可见骨骺处有骨隆起，不规则。若骨块妨碍关节活动，可切除之。马蹄足可行跟腱延长术。跗骨症状严重可行三关节融合术。畸形严重可行截骨术。
