zhongqi tianqi yubao中期天气预报(medium一range foreea-sting)未来3天以上到10天或15天的天气预报。它的预报时效介于短期和长期天气预报之间。中国中期天气预报按预报时效分有候预报、周预报、旬预报等，预报项目有气温、降水、寒潮、台风等。它同农业的关系密切。其预报方法多采用天气学方法、统计学方法;近年来正发展数值天气预报方法。中期夭气预报中，考虑的重点是大气长波尺度运动的稳定性和天气系统的演变规律，根据它们与各地天气的关系进行归纳与分类，划分环流型，建立天气过程模式。由于中期天气预报介于短期和长期天气预报之间，因此，不仅预报方法有相似，而且，涉及的问题也相近。如短期预报中考虑的气旋、反气旋等，长期预报中考虑的海陆驻波、极涡等，中期预报中都要考虑。中期预报还涉及长波和超长波的相互作用。(苏炳凯)
