硫细菌 sulfur bacteria 能氧化硫化合物的细菌。按其取得能量的途径可分为光能营养菌和化能营养菌两种。光能营养菌产生细菌叶绿素和类胡萝卜素,呈粉红、紫红、橙、褐、绿等色,都是厌氧光合菌,多栖息于含硫化氢的厌氧水域中。化能营养菌都是不产色素的好氧菌,栖息于含硫化物和氧的水中,能将还原性硫化物氧化成硫酸。已获得纯培养的硫细菌有硫杆菌属,硫微螺菌属和硫化叶菌属3属。硫化叶菌属是硫细菌中较特殊的一类。它不仅嗜酸(最适生长pH值范围为pH2~3),而且还嗜热(最适生长温度为70~75℃)。硫细菌是自然界中硫元素循环中不可缺少的一环。 |
