By investigation and research on the health status and physical exercise participation in 2346 intermediate and advanced intellectuals of Anhui province, it was proved that there existed differences in duration, frequency, events of physical exercise participation, consumption awareness and health status among various age groups.

By analyaing the health and bodybuilding situation for college intellectuals in Western China,the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasure and suggestions for promoting their health status.
