性质:对煤化度最低的烟煤的称谓。它的挥发分特别高,燃烧时火焰长,因此而得名。长焰煤约干燥无灰基挥发分Vdaf>37%,黏结指数G≤35。长焰煤的黏结性很弱,一般不结焦:是非炼焦煤,主要作为动力和化工用煤。个别焦化厂在炼焦配合煤中,有时配用少量低灰低硫的长焰煤,以降低焦炭的灰分和硫分,但配入量不宜多,否则会使焦炭机械强度明显变坏。由于长焰煤较难粉碎,配入前应单独进行粉碎。
