M scan
即超声光点扫描法。用慢扫描将回声点的上下位展开，以构成时空曲线，曲线的垂直方向代表界面的前后空间位置，水平方向代表时间。用于观测活界面的时间变化。心脏活动构成的曲线为超声心动图(ech-ocardiogram），可观察心动周期各时期、心脏各层结构的位置、活动、厚度、内腔大小、结构的连续性及有无异常回声及其位置；还可用于胎心、胎动和膈肌运动的观测，心室收缩时间间期的分析。
