| 介子 meson 自旋为  整数倍的强子。它们的统计性质属玻色子。1935年汤川秀树研究强相互作用时预言存在一种粒子，核子间的强相互作用就是通过交换这种粒子来实现的，估计其质量约为电子质量的200多倍，介于质子质量和电子质量之间，故称为介子 。1947年实验发现π介子就是汤川预言的粒子，以后又陆续发现K介子、ω介子、Ψ介子、η介子r介子、J/y粒子，以及多种介子共振态。1976年在斯坦福的电子-正电子对撞机上发现了第一个粲介子（见粲数）——中性的D0介子，质量为1.865吉电子伏特（GeV)，以后又发现带电的粲介子D+、D-等。 自旋为0的介子在量子场论中用标量波函数描述，按其宇称为+1或-1分别称为标量介子和赝标介子；自旋为1的介子在量子场论中用矢量波函数描述，按其宇称为+1或-1分别称为轴矢介子或矢量介子。目前认为已发现的介子都是由一对正反夸克构成的，例如π+=（u  ）π-=(ūd)，J/ =(c )等等。 |
