洛阳拖拉机研究所(Luoya雌Tractor Re·search Institute)中国机械电子工业部所属面向全国拖拉机行业的专业性科研机构。1952年创建于北京，1959年迁至河南省洛阳市。其主要任务是:协助部、司组织编制拖拉机行业科技发展规划，研究拖拉机行业的开发技术和有关基础技术;拖拉机产品设计原理及方法的试验研究;承担和组织拖拉机行业重大科研项目、新产品设计及技术攻关任务;承担和组织拖拉机行业工艺、材料、电器及测试设备的研究;成为拖拉机行业的技术开发中心、技术情报中心和技术标准中心。 该所设有产品开发部、发动机工程部、底盘液压工程部、材料工艺强度研究部、侧试计算机研究部、技术信息部和标准化研究室。国家拖拉机质量监督检验测试中心挂靠在该所。还建有发动机试验室、整机试验室、拖拉机试验室、传动及液压系统试验室、行走试验室、材料工艺试验室、结构强度试验室、噪声试验室、高低温试验室、计算机房、样机陈列库及附属工厂等，各种主要侧试设备及仪器150余台套。 建所以来，承担了2.2一1]8千瓦各种拖拉机及其变型和配套动力的设计、研究和试验鉴定工作。1964一1988年共取得500多项科研成果，其中100多项获国家、部、省、市级重大科技成果奖。如水田拖拉机整机和行走机构的研究解决了拖拉机在水田中作业的问题;柴油机直喷燃烧室工作过程的研究，使80一130毫米缸径柴油机的比油耗降低到218一238克/千瓦小时，烟度小于3个波许单位。在中高压齿轮泵、轴向柱塞泵、车用油耗传感器等零部件研究和材料工艺方面也取得了一定成果。(张忠胜)
