A reverse filter had not been erected in the protection-foundations of a traditional levee;and the integrity of the foundation is poor;and there exists a safety hazard on the foundation;and its cost is expensive.

In combination with the engineering practice of sand pillow toe protection construction in the revetment engineering of Zhujiang River Delta Xiaolan Waterway Regulation Project, this paper probes into the application of sand pillow toe protection in inland revetment engineering and gives a summary of the experience of construction technology.

It is shown in this test study that irregular wave poses greater threat to the stability of toe berm in the front of sloping breakwater than regular wave corresponding to Hs, and that the form of the armor layer also influences the toe berm block stability.
