In the thesis, systematically theoreticl analysis and experimental researches were done on the aspect of the exciting power supply, RF transmission, RF excited gas discharge plasma, uniformity of RF excited gas discharge and characteristics of RF power modulation of high power RF excited CO2 laser.

Study on the ceramic materials used to load the photocatalyst under gas discharge plasma;

Through measuring and analyzing of the electro-optical properties of the gas with various mixing ratio and gas pressure, the optimisation of discharge gas was (investigated), from which the following conclusions can be obtained that adding Kr to Ne-Xe discharge gas can significantly increase the luminance, luminous efficiency and can improve chromaticity of white-field .
