冰冻切片
又称冷冻切片。冰冻切片整个制片过程短，一般只需10～20分钟即可作出切片，配合手术比较及时。当手术中发现可疑恶性肿瘤或转移时，切取活体组织送冰冻切片，以分辨为良、恶性，是否已转移，以便进一步确定手术方案。冰冻切片有3种冷冻法：①二氧化碳冷冻切片法；②半导体冷冻切片法；③低温恒冷冷冻切片法。手术台上取活体组织比较大，一部分做冰冻切片，其余可容以后做石蜡切片，日后二者可以互相对照，因为冰冻切片质量不如石蜡切片，如果操作人员缺乏严格训练及操作经验，不熟悉冰冻切片中可能发生的人为假象，则辨认病变时容易发生错误。
