胶片特性曲线
放射学术语。胶片的性能指标之一。描绘曝光量与照片密度之间关系的曲线,表示感光材料的感光特性,故称之为“特性曲线”。该曲线的创立者为Hurter和Driffield,又称H-D曲线。横坐标和纵坐标分别为曝光量的对数值和密度。特性曲线由趾部(AB)、直线部(BC)、肩部(CD)及反转部(DE)组成。趾部和肩部的曲线斜率小,则密度上升,与照射量不成正比。前者在照片上反映感光不足,后者为感光过度。只有直线部的密度与照射量成正比,曲线呈直线上升,是该曲线中照射量正确的部分,也是实际工作中力求利用的部分。反转部则随照射量增加,影像密度反而下降。此外,特性曲线可提供感光材料的本底灰雾、感光度、对比度、最大密度及宽容度等参数,用以表示感光材料之感光性能。
