国际农民交流项目
国际农民交流项目中国农业部门按照与他国有关组织的协议，向外派出国有农场的青年职工，通过参与该国农场劳动实习的方式，学习别国农业的先进技术和经营管理方法，为国有农场培养外向型经济人材的国际间合作交流活动。国际农民交流项目是1986年经国务院批准，从1987年起，由农垦系统与美国国际农民教育协会、美国世界农民交流协会以及加拿大、日本等国有关组织共同实施的。派出对象主要是国有农场内具有两年以上实际工作经验、高中以上文化程度并经过外语培训考试合格的青年职工，实习期为一年。这些实习生不仅学习了别国先进的农业技术和经营管理经验，而且促进了国际间交流。回国后，他们多被选任到领导岗位或从事外经、外贸工作，在扩大农垦企业对外开放，发展外向型经济中发挥了骨干作用。
