| 铃蟾 Bombina 无尾目盘舌蟾科铃蟾属动物的通称。比较原始。肩带弧胸型；椎体后凹型。舌呈圆盘状。背面皮肤极粗糙。吻端圆而高。腹面呈橘红或橘黄与黑色相间极为醒目。掌、蹠部橘红色。多栖息于山溪、沼泽及其附近。在繁殖季节进入水塘或泥坑。成蟾行动迟缓，多爬行。当受惊扰或遇敌害攻击时，将头和四肢向背面翘起，显露出醒目的橘红和黑色斑块，作假死状。2～3分钟后恢复原态逃逸。现有6种。在欧洲和亚洲东部，从寒温带至热带北缘，呈断裂分布。中国有4种，其中东方铃蟾分布于华北、苏北、东北以及朝鲜和西伯利亚东部。其余3种分别产于四川、云南、贵州、湖北、广西，以及越南北部。系统发生上与滑蹠蟾科最为接近，原始性状明显。 |
