硫醇 mercaptan 氢硫基或巯基—SH与脂肪烃基相连的有机化合物。巯基与芳烃核直接相连的有机化合物称硫酚。存在于粗石油中,通常为以乙硫醇为主的各种硫醇。此外,烯丙硫醇存在于芥子油中,含有巯基的氨基酸、半胱氨酸存在于蛋白质中。硫醇、硫酚的性质与醇、酚相似。硫醇和硫酚都有强烈的臭味,乙硫醇在空气中的浓度达到500亿分之一时,即可闻到臭味。硫醇、硫酚是弱酸,其酸性比相应的羟基化合物强,比乙酸弱。它们与氯化汞反应生成不溶性的汞盐,也容易被各种氧化剂氧化成二硫化物。硫醇可由卤代烷与硫氢化钠起取代反应制得,或将卤代烷与硫脲反应,然后将产物用碱液处理制得。醇与硫化氢进行高温催化反应,能大量生产廉价的乙硫醇和丁硫醇。硫酚一般由芳香磺酰氯还原制得。有些硫醇和硫酚可作药物、解毒剂和橡胶硫化促进剂,也可用作合成杀菌剂的原料。例如,硫代水杨酸可用于合成杀菌剂水杨乙汞;2-巯基苯并噻唑可作橡胶的硫化促进剂;2,3-二巯基丙醇可作砷中毒的解毒剂;6-巯基嘌呤可治癌。 |
